I’m a gear slut, period. I gained a lot of expertise about video, film and audio gear during the years. My thoughts on this all written down on this blog, I’m Dutch so pardon my English. To quote my first entry:

Welcome to my blog. Finally. Finally because this is a thing going around for a long time already. For years now, I could say. I’ve started this website because I got both a bit bored and pleased about the fact that I get several phone calls/emails/twitter requests a day about the same thing; Advice on filmmaking gear. Whether  it’s a question like, “What camera should I buy?” or, “What do you prefer, Magic Bullet Looks or just the native 3 colour corrector in Final Cut?”. I could replace my day job with answering those questions or requests, without any over exaggerating. But I like it, that’s why I’m still answering those calls or replying the tweets.

From now on there’s this website. Several times a week I “blog” a post with my thoughts, tips, advises and rants about the industry. I make lists of useful resources on the web, come up with advice on all the issues concerning video, film, video for the internet etcetera. When there’s a new product worth mentioning you can find it here, with my thought about it attached for free  .
