Hello,

I couldn't send message through the contact page so I copypaste the original text here.

Hello,

I apologize for disturb you! I've just looked for a wireless hdmi transmitter in google and ofc. i found your video. Please, let me ask some questions about your experiences with this product.
I am looking for a wireless transmitter for a church to displaying church songs on LCD television(s). This is my first such project and i have no much experiences in A/V techniques and pitfalls.
The questions are:
- does the IR control transmitter work correctly?
- After using the transmitter I disconnect the laptop and later I reconnect it. Do I need to do something (except to turn the tv on remotely), to start the projection again? (i mean to restart the wireless equipment, or something else)
- The audio transmission is doesn't matter, but it would be nice if it would work. What about it? Is there any delay?
- What about the standards? I mean that, must i care with the hdmi versions, or currently all equipment fully backward compatible? Is there any pitfall?
- Did you test the Point-to-Multipoint transmission?

Your answer would be appreciated!
Thank you in advance!

Yours sincerely

But.....I do agree with the posters who mentioned YouTube's abusive comments. It's because Yahoo owns them.

Yahoo allows any kind of abusive comments all over their network of sites. One reason we canceled our Yahoo email and we never read Yahoo news articles. I'd choose Vimeo over YouTube in a second too, if it wasn't so darned slow :(

Gotta agree with you 100%. Vimeo has to be the slowest site on the internet.

I've found amazing videos on Vimeo and tried to embed them to our site. They embed fine, but getting them to play at faster than a snail's speed is ridiculous. NO problems with YouTube whatsoever though.

Vimeo is now so slow for us we only look at it as a last resort. Today when I tried to watch a video, it took 15 MINUTES to load a video that played for 8.

I must say, this is a very interesting blog topic. I have final cut studio 2, and did not upgrade to 3 because it wasn't much of an upgrade (to me) save for alpha transitions and reflection/shadows in motion 4. I can live without those "upgrades", my the real issue is this:

Shake 4.1 rendered video using all threads, it was fully-multi-threaded 32bit application.
I have no Idea how, I'm guessing qmaster? I've heard it's possible to setup a render farm to use all CPU cores on one mac thru final cut's qmaster. But I never tried, so I don't know.

Basically, shake has been discontinued before snow leopard, and final cut is still 32bit, and there has yet to be announced a replacement for shake.
Honestly, adobe is quick to bring technology up to date, where as apple is taking their time to do things right.
I can understand taking the time to make a truly magnificent product, one that will even surpass the legendary shake. However, I personally, can not handle another disappointment like final cut 7, so I've decided to start using premiere instead.
64bit premier is by far faster at rendering and editing than the current FCS. Now, like someone above mentioned... It does have quirks and it's own set of setbacks, such as lack for certain plug-ins or favored parameters from FCS. But at the end of the day, you can still achieve what you want, and more, when combined with after effects... Which by far kills the quality of motion 4, as a competitor... Yet, lacks the GPU Accelerated Quartz Filters that enable motion to create effects/render at great speeds. So, the result is better in After Effects, yet faster in motion.. And also faster in premiere, but better in final-cut...

Hence, this is my thesis statement (I'm gonna guess the journalist is going to like this part, since thesis is typically Said in the beginning right?)

I believe it is best to learn And use everything you can grab a hold of.
The right tool will allow you to do the proper job. Every job has various demands.
Every demand must have a certain thought process... And a computer is nothing but a utility to amplify your intuition, creativity, and ideas. Stop relying on software to think for you, and start using it to express your own.

"a computer is like a bicycle for the mind. You can only run so far, before getting tired... But if you get on a bicycle and start pedaling, not only do you get further faster, but you don't tire as much" -Steve Jobs

I think this goes along the lines of what John Riddles said above:
"if you know how to tell a story, it doesn't matter of you cut with scissors and glue."
That's what I think at least.
